The little buggers managed to knock the feeder down and then had the audacity to stand on their hind legs at the back sliding door as if to say hey where’s the bird seed. Silly things.

Cool wind chimes we found in St Marys
Had to drive my brother to Washington from Ga today. So add another 88 miles to the last few days of long trips. Came home and took a nap. A LONG nap. Now I am off to bed for a longer nap aka sleep all nite.

I bought the Dino one on the left. Bells and dinos!!!
Colors used on squirrels. Quin gold burnt sienna and cerulean.

Priced $14-$25. So reasonable!!
All I can say is zzzzzz and my bottom is oh so tahred. Xoxoxox Margaret

Doesnt it look like we are closely related…variations on-a McCarthy theme. Aka all dad’s children. Even though a year ago we did not know about each other.
so another painting at Ruth’s House. Margaret who needs to go to bed. 🤗😍😘
a sweet bouquet on Ruth’s coffee table. Lamy ef, eelskin ink, Stillman and Birn Sketchbook. Charles Reid colors.

an amazing sunset tonight. Always amazes me how quickly they change.
too nice ladies that ate lunch next to us at Rembrandt’s down in the Bluff District.
Hmmm that’s suppose to be Ruth but looks more like me. And what happened to Cheryl?! I meant to fix her with white gouache or a white gel pen. OOPs.

The two water wells come off and the palette goes inside to seal it up when u are traveling.
As I said fun toy.
Loaded with Charles Reid colors and quin gold.

BUT the reason I post this is just drawing.
Those few hands really helped with drawing the models hands over the last week or so.
Matt’s hands fairly effortlessly on Monday.
Ditto Ilania on Saturday and Mona yesterday.
A flurry of Peppers hands at Dr Sketchys.
Mona’s hand.
Definitely getting a background.
Leaning toward the main background color of either sap green or maybe a purple.
And doing something like this Klimt but with African symbols. Or maybe they are Indonesian since what we think of as African fabric is made in Indonesian originally by those enterprising Dutch of the

But I had that Klimt stuck in my head all weekend so I drew just a 3/4 head too. Probably will use some Caran dache Neocolor ii on it also.
This was how the head looked when I left Atlanta. I studied it in the car off and on while driving home. Amazing what a glance or two can bring out errors.

That little bubble above the sketch is the real choo Choo sign above the old station.
I would have been closer to it when we ate at the station the day before but we had to get to lifemodeling.

16×20 Ilania. I quit at first break because I was afraid I would mess it up. The light was not great. As Tom said all I could see was the tones not the colors.
