One of my favorites so far. I think I will call him Dave! He’s done with watercolor pencils and regular watercolor.

My favorite dog – my version of an Irish Wolfhound. Notice the Irish stamps and the green and gold washi tape. This one is all watercolor. The background is quin gold and green gold.

This odd bird just makes me smile. Quin sienna background. I splatter and drip onto them while they are still wet which gives a soft look to the splatters.
I have now done about 35 of these with 46 drawn. I know dear reader I have lost my mind but they make me smile. They make my friends smile. I even have a friend whose going to try it herself.
Here’s an interesting bird we found while washing out our paintbrushes yesterday at the art studio. We laughed. I took a pic.

Here’s my sketched version ready to be inked. Try it. You might like it.

This frog seems appropriate when talking about Robert Burridge. He would say yippie when painting. He might be the new Bob Ross.

Nancy and Alexis on the right.
Well not really. It’s a little late because I got busy cleaning after the power came back on. Aka I almost forgot to post. After 1187 posts you would think I would not forget but some days I just get busy and do.
I think the foot is still too long. For some reason I decided to draw one of the sketchers in the background of the original one. Some people liked it some didn’t.
One thing the additional person does is keep u from noticing Ems foot is still too long too narrow. I tried adding a bit more Shadow to her foot to widen it. No idea if I was successful.

Danny Gregory reading and talking about a book on Sketchbookskool club. And darn yes I bought the book. I have to quit watching them. I have bought several after watching these where he flips thru his collection of books about drawing. Some great ones. Ronald Searle, Felix Scheinberger, Tommy Kane, David Gentleman, Sarah Midda to name a few. Ttyl Margaret hot to draw. More wacky animals soon. Stayed up til midnight drawing a new flock. Xoxoxo

Tombows would be better if I can ever find my box of them wherever they have disappeared to.
My paints on a cookie sheet to minimize paint on the year old sofa I hope. No oopsies allowed. I also have a quilt under me.

I can see a chick sitting on a rock in this picture can’t you?!! Fun stuff.

Definitely a male bird is some kind.

Written with an Ahab. A Lamy could never write this.
Painted with Ted Nuttalls transparent palette.
BMW R1200 drawn at the dealership. I think I have painted everything in my Stillman and Birn Beta that I can possibly paint today.
All 92 pages are full. Hurrah. And painted. I think I have painted or update 15 pages today stopping only long enough to eat a quick lunch and feed the dogs.
Painted with Ted Nuttalls palette plus cerulean and green gold. I am now ready for a nap.
My socks. The heel is turned. Maybe I can make the toe tonite. Not wild about the color but my feet will enjoy the Madeline Tosh sock and I shouldn’t have to darn it. Tough yarn.
