Been drawing Chrystal at the Atlanta Artist Center. Three hours of painting fun is exhausting. BYTW she’s on instagram @chrystal_line she’s a fire eater or hmm was it a fire performer as well as a great model.

This will probably get cropped. Not sure just how. Maybe like this?!

And her she is again. Now how to crop her. Any bright suggestions?! Maybe like this. I am just glad she turned out well. You never know and I drank too much kombucha this am which made me jittery.

Angel Food cup cake. Who knew there was such a thing. Topped with some incredible blue berries, a strawberry and some amazing sweet whipped cream. Pricey at $5 but those were the best blueberries I have ever tasted. I may have to plant some bushes.

Cream and Flutter is a cute little “boutique” bakery/ice cream shop in Cashiers. A charming place to draw if only I had had time.

Strange delicious flavors of ice cream like Brambleberry which is raspberry with chunks of cake in it. The perfect topping to our boat ride on Lake Glenville and pizza dinner. I had an amazing Greek salad.

Food well done is always amazing.

Strawberries. I can live off of them in the summer. Well if you add in some peaches and a side of watermelon.

Stillman and Birn Lamy Safari and an EF w Noodlers Eelskin Ink. Watercolor pencils. Fabre Castell of course.

I tried drawing the seeds with my pentel gel pen but for some reason it wouldn’t show up. Maybe it didn’t like the wax in the watercolor pencils.

Day 1670 Squirrel attack

Have mixed emotions about my back porch squirrels. They gobble up the bird seed. I would rather the birds did. So what are they the one one right or the DEMON SqUiRReL!!!

Demon squirrel lives in your attic and eats the woodwork the pots the plants the rubber tubing to the gas grill over and over again.

Everyday squirrel performs acrobatics for our entertainment. So silly. Little sleek things always lounging or running around the porch.

Empanada time. Shower first. Deliciousness. I think the chicken ones win by a nose.

Day 1466 Key West Food Tour

Our hostess was AnnaLise a Key West local who owns and runs the Key West Food tour.

AnnaLise gives a great tour loaded with history and anecdotes about all things Key West.

These are all the places we walked to on our tour. We walked a lot. NOT for the faint hearted.

One of my favorite places she took us too was the funky Blue Heaven. I can’t resist their Key Eat pink shrimp eggs Benedict. So delicious.

And on the weekends and evenings there’s a band and chickens. How can it be a bad spot to sit a while?!

A few other great things to do on Key West are Lloyd’s Bike Tour also jammed with facts and folklore. The Ghost HUNT tour is also fun and interesting not for those who are afraid of things that go bump in the night. Eeekkk!! The Shark Tour we won was also fun and interesting.
